1st International Congress of Medicine, Psychology, Methodology and Body Conditioning in Dance.
2021 edition
from 22 to 25 July 2021
Scientific coordinator: Marco Batti
The great diffusion of dance in Italy has underlined the need, as well as the urgency, of continuous research, not only technical but also scientific and cultural. The study of anatomy, the knowledge of possible traumas that can occur during dance practice and, consequently, the study of the most suitable methods to prevent and treat them has become fundamental.
International Dance Conference (2022 Edition), in an attempt to create a union between art and science, aims to focus the spotlight on aspects, perhaps little analyzed, in the sphere of dance, looking at them with different eyes.
Starting from Psychology and Medicine, then moving on to Methodology and Technique, the event will try to provide participants with all the fundamental notions for a methodological update, to understand at a medical level what really happens and thus get to know dance at 360 °. . In addition, the event will have an educational and updating nature for social and health professionals working in the physiotherapy, rehabilitation, orthopedic and sports medicine and food sectors and who want to apply their knowledge and studies in the dance field.
