Specialization in Classical Technique

The high specialization course aims to train Masters of Classical Dance at 360 °, starting from the notions of the first settings of the technique up to the complete training of the dancer. As an aid to the study of technique, four key pillars of Dance: Music, Anatomy, the Classical Repertoire and the approach to the first steps of the Pas de deux study. The overall duration of the course is 240 hours, divided into: 120 for the first level (from the I to the IV course) and 120 for the second level (from the V to the VIII course). Each level is made up of 90 hours of lectures and 30 hours of practical training, the latter carried out in one of the following ways: as an auditor at the University of Dance with a cadence to be agreed during the duration of the course; in full-immersion mode during the Spring stage or the Intensive Summer School of the Ateneo della Danza. Exceptionally for working students, the internship can be replaced by producing a project work (research work) to be carried out independently by agreeing with the course supervisor.
